Nintendo released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Shield releases for the Switch. There’s plenty of new footage to check out in the almost two and a half minute trailer, including looks at unique battle strategies, usable combat items and the hulking Dynamax powers.

The next generation Pokemon entries are looking like an exciting adventure filled with plenty of new and old Pokemon. However, to many fans disapproval, Game Freak has revealed that the national Pokedex which includes all Pokemon in the franchise will not be making it into the final game, leaving many fans disappointed some of their favorite Pokemon might not make the cut. Nevertheless, there’s still plenty of features making their way into the game which should make for a rewarding adventure.
All in all, Pokemon Sword and Shield looks to deliver the same Pokemon experience we’ve grown to love over the years for the first time on a home console. We can expect to get our hands on the new titles once they release on the Switch on November 15, 2019.
