After confirming the rumors circulating that Season 4, Year 4 of Rainbow Six Siege will be titled ‘Shifting Tides,’ Ubisoft has revealed the new Operators coming to the game.
Initially launching on the PC version’s test server on November 11, 2019, the two new Operators coming to Rainbow Six Siege are Kali—an Attacker—and Wamai—a Defender.
Kali’s primary weapon will be a bolt-action sniper rifle, and her gadget is the “LV Explosive Lance,” a projectile attached to her weapon’s under-barrel and penetrates walls while destroying all gadgets in its radius upon reaching its destination.
Wamai does not possess a unique weapon. However, his gadget—“The Mag-Net System” —attaches powerful magnets to any surface. These magnets attract projectiles, such as grenades, to prevent them from reaching their intended destination.
In addition, ‘Shifting Tides’ will implement a revamped version of the Theme Park map, described by Ubisoft thusly: “The Rail Platform has been removed and the East and West sections have been brought closer together. Inside the building, the East section has largely evolved, primarily the downstairs area. Gargoyle and Haunting Dining bomb sites are replaced with the Throne Room and Armory pair. The new Gong Room in this area also becomes the main entrance, while the Arcade Entrance is now blocked.”
Finally, ‘Shifting Tides’ brings about other changes, such as adding a limb penetration system and decreasing the cost of seven existing Operators:
