The nominees for the 9th Annual New York Game Awards presented by New York Videogame Critics Circle have been announced for this year’s show. The ceremony will be held on January 21 and will be hosted by Emmy Award winning writers from “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.”
Reggie Fils-Aimé will be at the show but not to present like he did at the 2019 Game Awards. He will be there to receive the Andrew Yoon Legend Award. This award is given to individuals or organizations with outstanding achievements and have made great innovations for the video game industry. Past awards have been given to people such as Jade Raymond, Richard Garriott, and Todd Howard. Rockstar Games even received the award one year.

The nominee lists are stacked this year with some fantastic titles and people. For those looking to go to the New York Game Awards, tickets are on sale now. For those who attend the event, they will receive free game codes and be able to attend the after-party once the show concludes. For those who want to see the show but won’t be able to make it, it will be streamed live on Twitch and Mixer.
