Atlus has revealed that the upcoming Switch and PS4 Musou-esque title, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, will be receiving incoming news this October. The video clearly shows off that the game will players all over locations in Japan, not just in Tokyo which is where Persona 5 takes place. Locales such as Osaka, Shibuya, Sapporo, Okinawa and Sendai.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is a riveting spin off title that many fans in the series weren’t exactly expecting. While many Nintendo fans were hoping to see the coveted JRPG Persona 5 land on the Switch, the Dynasty Warriros type game that is Scramble wasn’t exactly what fans had in mind.
That being said, the Switch already has a few Musou type crossover titles in the line up, including Fire Emblem Warrior featuring iconic Fire Emblem characters and Hyrule Warriors which, of course, features Link, Princess Zelda and plenty of other iconic characters from the Legend of Zelda franchise.
Regardless, it will be interesting to see what Atlus and the partnering developer of the Koei Tecmo studio, Omega Force, has in store for news later this year. It’s an exciting release for Persona and Dynasty Warriors fans, especially considering the different locations all throughout Japan that appear to be featured in the upcoming action game.
The incoming news for the latest spin off from the Persona series is set to hit on October 24, 2019. The game is scheduled to release on the PS4 and Switch but currently has no official release date or release window for the game.
