After being absent for a year, Ghost Games is back again with another Need For Speed title in hand. Today, the official website for the franchise updated with a countdown appearing at the first page, promising us an unveil on August 14.
It was originally revealed during EA’s earning’s call that a Need For Speed game will be launched later this year. A few months later, Need For Speed Heat was leaked by a German retailer along with two images that were representing the game’s box arts. Now, the official Twitter account and website for the series is counting down to reveal the next NFS on August 14 at 10 AM EDT.
Need For Speed Payback is the last title of the series launched two years ago. The game was a huge failure for Ghost Games and Electronic Arts regarding its lack of content and undeniable dependency to micro-transactions. This year, Need For Speed series turns into 25 years and it’s really important for the fans to get something that deserves over two decades of history-making.
Electronic Arts has also confirmed its presence at Opening Night Live prior to Gamescom 2019, where we expect to get more details on the new NFS. Also, it’s being said that the new Plants Vs Zombies game is scheduled to be revealed in Geoff Keighley’s show.
