NieR: Automata Demo Released With a New Trailer

It was announced by Square Enix, that starting today, fans can experience the machine-ruled dystopia of action-RPG NieR: Automata, as Square Enix released a playable demo through the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system. Available now as a free download, the demo transports players to an abandoned factory, following android 2B’s mission to destroy a massive enemy weapon that lies within.

“This new trailer released, shows off the upcoming FINAL FANTASY® XV and DRAGON QUEST® collaborations in which android 2B will be able to equip Noctis’s signature weapon, the “Engine Blade” from FINAL FANTASY XV and the “Cypress Stick” from the DRAGON QUEST series.

The highly anticipated follow up to the 2010 cult-classic NIER®, NieR: Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to reclaim a machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful weapons known as machine lifeforms.

This title will be available for the PlayStation®4 system on March 7, 2017 in North America for $59.99 and Steam® in early 2017. The “Black Box Edition” is available for pre-order exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store for $189.99. The Day One Edition is available for pre-order at all participating retailers.
