During yesterday’s Inside Xbox: X018, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer was interviewed with Inside Xbox host Julia Hardy, she asked about which new projects can fans expect. Phil Spencer talking about Ninja Theory said: “it’s about that cultural fit for us. Do we have something to add to the studio?”
Microsoft’s boss went later to tease fans telling that we should hear more about Ninja Theory’s next project sometime next year. He also confirmed that Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment would complete their current projects before moving onto new RPG projects.
“It’s really fun to not only see what Ninja Theory has done in the past, but to look forward to next year and things that might come.”
This statement pretty much guarantees that we’ll be hearing about what Ninja Theory is working on in some way, shape, or form next year. This isn’t the only project tease to come out of X018 this year. In a press release, Microsoft announced that they would be allowing both Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment to complete existing projects before moving onto “future RPG projects” hinting that there’s more than what we know of in the pipeline at both of these studios.“It’s really fun to not only see what Ninja Theory has done in the past, but to look forward to next year and things that might come.”
