Nintendo Direct Feb 2019: Everything Else Announced
Hosted by Mr. Yoshiaki Koizumi, today’s Nintendo Direct made big announcement to please all kind of fans. The first announcement was the upcoming Super Mario Maker 2, for the Nintendo Switch followed by many updates on upcoming games, but probably what got me exited the most is the remake of The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, a title who is very underrated probably due to the original’s hardware limitations.
Following the announcement of Super Mario Maker 2 it was announced the return after a decade of the latest Marvel Ultimate Alliance game on the platform. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order features a 4-players action RPG and it will be available on summer 2019

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ver. 3.0 update was announced for this spring, but Nintendo didn’t shared many details about what’s coming next, but don’t let that stop you watching the Direct trailer below:
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is getting downloadable content, this DLC will come for free and all courses will feature co-op mode:
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a gothic horror action side-scrolling RPG set in 19th century England was also confirmed to release this summer.
In this game players will take the role of Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist’s curse which slowly crystallizes her body. To save humanity, and herself in the process, Miriam must fight through the castle and defeat the summoner, Gebel.
Next it was the turn for Dragon Quest Builders 2 who also got it’s release date trailer, the game it’s coming on July 12.
Ubisoft’s Starlink Battle for Atlas next update was revealed to arrive on April this year, new missions and the entire team of Star Fox are coming in this update:
While announcing the latest update on Rune Factory 4 it was confirmed that Rune Factory 5 is in development
Square Enix’s RPG Oninaki was also announced in this game we’ll assume the role of a Watcher named Kagachi, doing battle by “manifesting” the souls of Daemons, which act as the classes found in traditional roleplaying games.
Each Daemon has its own unique weapons and skills, and players can shift between them in real time to gain the upper hand in battle. Moving between the Living World and the realm of the dead known as the Beyond, Kagachi must save the souls of the Lost, as the story of life and reincarnation in this wondrous kingdom unfolds. Oninaki it’s coming this summer for the Nintendo Switch.
A new demo it’s now available for Yoshi’s Crafted World, it features the first course of the game.
Nintendo also revealed the first gameplay trailer for the Switch version of Dead by Daylight. It’s scheduled to release this fall.

A fun trailer free of spoilers made the announcement that Delta Rune’s first chapter will be available on February 28th.
Daemon X Machina’s Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda announced a demo called Prototype Mission releasing today, in this demo we will be able to control 4 different characters, fully customizable and having a feel of the basic controls. Take a look at this gameplay video below:
Grid Autosports will fill a void in the sim racing games for the Nintendo Switch, it features a good amount of real life circuits and a large variety of cars, it will be releasing on this Summer.
Ninja Theory’s Hell Blade: Senua’s Sacrifice and NetherRealm Mortal Kombat 11 versions for Switch were confirmed to be releasing this spring and April 23th respectively. Assasins’s Creed III Remaster is also coming for the Switch on May 21st.
For Final Fantasy fans FFIX is now available, with FFVII coming soon.
On regards of Bayonetta 3 Yoshiaki Koizumi confirmed that the developers are working hard on the game and we will have more information about it soon.
