It was announced in the Nintendo Switch 2017 Presentation, that the Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3, 2017 and will have a launch price of 299.99$ / 29.980,00 ¥. The system will not apply region lock to the games. The online services of the Nintendo Switch will have a free trial on the first month at launch and after this trial Nintendo may begin charging a fee for these services.

The battery life of the Nintendo Switch will be between 2 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours depending of the game that the player is currently running on the console with the possibility to use an USB Type-C to play while the console is charging. The Nintendo Switch has a touch screen and Wi-fi connectivity to play online games and you can link up to eight systems together to play anywhere. The consle will also feature local multiplayer using the right and left Joy-Controlers with your friends and family.

Joy-Con
The Joy-Controlers of the Nintendo Switch have a sharing button as one of the new features of the console, and a sensor for using amiibo figures. Each controller also have a joystick and a L and R Buttons on the top part for the TV and Handheld mode and on the inner side for the Tabletop mode. The Joy-Con also features a Gyro Sensor, Accelerometer and a Depth senor that can read hand gestures and the proximity of the hand to the sensor.
Easily take and save screenshots using the Capture Button on the left Joy‑Con. Then view, add text, and share to social networks from your album.
32GB of internal memory, a portion of which is reserved for use by the system. Users can easily expand storage space using microSDXC cards.
The screen is a 6.2-inch, multi-touch capacitive touch screen that can display a resolution of 1280 x 720.
A new feature of the Joy-Con is that the player can experiment a new way of feeling the controller with its new HD rumble feature, an advanced vibration features built into each Joy‑Con, like when an ice cube is shaken inside a glass as demonstrated in the live presentation. The Joy-Con will have a Joy-Con Wristrap to have a more safe way to use the motion control functions.
The Nintendo Switch will be launched in two models: one with the gray Joy-Con and one that will feature a neon blue Joy-Con and neon red Joy-Con.
