Nintendo Switch to Support Game Boy Games – Rumor

According to new rumors from a ResetEra user, Nintendo Switch could be backward compatible with some Game Boy Advance games, the leaker affirms that Nintendo will make the announcement today, December 1, 2020.

The Nintendo Switch Online services only offer NES and SNES when it comes to classic games. Fans are expecting Nintendo to expand the support of Game Boy and Nintendo 64 titles. Certainly, it’s intriguing that the alleged insider claims that the announcement will take place later today, and it adds veracity to his affirmations as it’s usual that rumors are vague and imprecise.

If we are to analyze the recent strategy by Nintendo it is possible that adding support of Game Boy Advance classics is in the best interest of Shuntaro Furukawa.
