Nintendo Trademark Pokemon Miracle Twin in Japan

Nintendo along with Creatures and Game Freak have registered a trademark in Japan for “ミラクルツイン ” which translate to Miracle Twin. This trademark include rights for all kind of accessories for the Nintendo Switch, it’s reported that this also includes toys, board games and more.

Pokémon Company tweet from May 30th confirms the announcement made by Nintendo at their E3 2017 presentation where they promised a Core RPG Pokémon title on the Switch. Could Miracle Twin be the core Pokémon RPG fans are expecting?

“The Switch Pokemon game was teased by Pokemon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, who said at the time that the game may not release for over a year. He also said that series developer Game Freak would be making the game. No other details were given then or in the year following.

Recently, rumors about the upcoming Pokemon Switch game have been circulating. However, many of them–including that the game would be integrated with Pokemon Go.”

Creatures, Inc. is a Japanese video game development company affiliated with The Pokémon Company well known for producing Pokémon trading cards and toys, as well as developing many video games. Its current president is Hirokazu Tanaka, who was previously known for producing and composing various other Nintendo games.

Game Freak Inc. is best known as the primary developer of the Pokémon series but they have been developing games from the late 80’s, one of Game Freak’s first games was the NES action and puzzle game Quinty, which released in North America as Mendel Palace. Game Freak is currently developing Town, which seems like an adventure RPG, Town is scheduled to release for the Nintendo Switch next year.

Keep tuned as we might get more information about Miracle Twin in the following weeks, but we can be sure something huge is coming to Pokémon fans on 2019.
