Fans of the RPGs are eagerly awaiting the release of Nioh and to add more fuel to the excitement Koei Tecmo has released a new cinematic trailer for the game titled “Legend Of Nioh”.
Recently, game director Fumihiko Yasuda revealed that Nioh will take almost 70 hours to complete and will take longer if players grind for better weapons or more XP or trying to defeat all of the game’s bosses.
Afterwards they got into the meat of gameplay showing some stage playthrough culminating in the Ogress boss fight we saw at the Playstation Experience. As usual, the boss was not defeated. The team wrapped up with some conversation and an overview of the pre-order bonuses and a look at an in game feature that allows you to swap your appearance for other characters in the game like Hattori Hanzo or Tokugawa Ieyasu in exchange for some items, as well as purchase new weapons and gestures.
Nioh is due out for PlayStation 4 on February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe, and February 9 in Japan.
Check out the Trailer:
“Nioh, the upcoming Dark Souls-esque action game that is set in Japan, following the odyssey of William, the ninja of a western origin. And now, in a new trailer for the game, Tecmo Koei shared a brand new animated cutscene showing some of the narrative conceit of the game.
The trailer is titled ‘The Legend of Nioh,’ and has a Part 1 appended to the end, which seems to suggest that there will be more like it in the future. It’s also in Japanese, but honestly, is visually striking enough that it shouldn’t be hard to follow.”
