The recent news of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes making its way over to the PS4 console has fans of the platform hoping to see other titles in the series make the move. It seems that these hopes aren’t too far off as series producer and Grasshopper Manufacturer CEO Goichi “Suda 51” Suda has been in talks with IP owner Marvelous on making that happen.
In an interview with Dengeki PlayStation, Suda51 revealed that there’s definitely an interest in porting over other previously released No More Heroes titles and further discussions were ongoing.
“We’re currently in talks with Marvelous to make (No More Heroes on PS4) happen. It’s in positive consideration, so I hope we’ll be able to make a good announcement.” – Suda51
In the interview he also touches on that the PS4 version of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is the Complete Edition of the game which includes all previous DLC for the game. He also iterated that exclusive Sony PlayStation in-game t-shirts will be available for the PS4 version.
While nothing has been announced as of yet, we could very expect an exciting announcement for PS4 owners to enjoy the No More Heroes series. No More Heroes 3 has also been announced for the Switch with a 2020 release date, so it may be possible we’ll see a port of the third installment on the PS4 as well later down the line.
