According to HardwareLeaks, a website leaks and speculation, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti was recently tested by NVIDIA engineers, the next-gen graphics card saw an impressive increase in performance compared to the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti, and the Titan RTX GPU.
_RoGame, from the HardwareLeaks, says that he was able to “100% verify that this test”.

As explained by HardwareLeaks, here is the summary of how much better is the new Ampere GPU.
I don’t know which of Ampere variants is being tested here but I think the performance numbers speaks for them selves.
So, while checking 3dmark results as usual, I stumbled upon a very interesting Time Spy result. A private result with a very high overall score and some odd clock numbers :
GPU vendor : NVidia Corporation
GPU core clock : 1935MHz (Time Spy only reports boost clocks)
Memory clock : 6000MHz
Putting the weird memory clock aside, 1935MHz boost clock is not what a lot of people were expecting. It’s not that far off current 12nm Turing clock speeds and only raises more questions than it answers. Are Samsung 8nm rumors true? Is the GA102 die already so large that clocks can’t be pushed much further? Or perhaps are Nvidia aiming for an efficiency improvement first and foremost?
The next-gen NVIDIA Ampere GPU has been the target of several rumors and leaks in the latest months, from the final design of the Founders Edition coolers, to the actual specifications of the card, it’s not a surprise that the premium card will crush the competition and will make of a PC most powerful device to play the next gen games.
