It wouldn’t be a One Piece game these days without swimsuits. News of the first female characters in One Piece: Burning Blood broke last week as Boa Hancock, Nico Robin, Nami, and Ghost Princess Perona received playable status. Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan has confirmed those four female characters will also have alternate costumes – swimsuits.
The swimsuit costumes will be available with first-print editions of the game, which will have DLC codes enclosed to redeem them. The digital download version of the game will include the costumes. It’s worth noting the swimsuit costumes have only been confirmed for Japan at this time. It is likely (not confirmed) other countries will be able to obtain this DLC, although, it may not necessarily be as a first-print bonus.
One Piece: Burning Blood will release in Japan on April 21, North America on May 31, and June 3, 2016 in Europe for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and PC.
