Ori and the Blind Forest Headed to the Switch Next Month

During today’s Gamescom showcase revealed that Microsoft and developer Moon Studios are bringing over the acclaimed platformer, Ori and the Blind Forest, over to the Switch next month. The Switch release of the original Ori title is the Definitive Edition which includes new areas, new abilities, new environments loads of other additional content.

Check out the Switch announcement trailer for the game below:

Ori and the Blind Forest initially released on the Xbox One and PC back in 2015 and marks yet another collaboration effort between Microsoft and Nintendo. Earlier this year Cuphead made its way over to the Switch and later this year Banjo-Kazooie will appear on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC characters.

Ori and the Blind Forest will be available on the Switch on September 27, 2019. There’s no word as of yet if the sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be making its way over to the Switch as well, but it seems rather likely after today’s announcement.
