During The Game Awards 2023, Ori and the blind forest developer Moon Studios announced the action RPG No Rest for the Wicked. The game will launch in early access for PC and fully at a later date on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S. The game takes place in the year 841 in a fictional kingdom which is currently undergoing a ruling dispute after the king’s death. The trailer shows several enemies, characters, and backgrounds.
Moon Studios cofounder Thomas Mahler commented on the announcement, saying:
“We have been dreaming of being able to contribute to the ARPG genre that we all grew up with and love. After the success of Ori, it was clear to us that Moon was now mature enough to finally realize those dreams,” “We can’t wait to see how players will react to this entirely new take on the genre!”
