Level-5 recently announced that the original Ni No Kuni title, Wrath of the White Witch, is heading over to the Switch later this year. However, this may not be the only classic modern RPG making its way over to the hybrid console as the official YouTube virtual mascot for the developer, Dennoji Reto, has hinted at the first Yo-Kai Watch making its way over.
Check out the new video from Dennoji Reto below:
Fans are expecting to get their hands on Ni No Kuni for the Switch on September 20, 2019 – the same day that Nintendo is releasing the newly announced Switch Lite model. Dennoji Reto points out that fans with plans to purchase the Lite edition will also be able to pick up their copy of Ni No Kuni. She also nonchalantly states that fans will be able pick up the original Yo-Kai Watch for the Switch soon after.
This is interesting because there hasn’t been an official announcement for the game coming to the Switch. While we’re anticipating the fourth Yo-Kai Watch installment later this year on the console, it’s still a bit unclear as to whether the company plans on simply porting over the original title, or giving the game a full remaster treatment.
Regardless, it seems as though fans of the 2013 3DS title will be able to get their hands on the game for the Switch at some point later this year.
