It seems as though Kakarot won’t be the only playable character in the upcoming Dragon Ball RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. News coming from V-Jump revealed that a few more popular names will be featured as playable heroes as well as support characters during the enduring journey of the iconic saiyan warrior and guardian of Earth.
The news reveals that the mighty saiyan prince Vegeta, Goku’s (Kakarot) son Gohan and the powerful Namekian warrior Piccolo have all been confirmed to be playable in some way in the upcoming Kakarot title. It’s stated that Vegeta won’t become playable until players arrive on planet Namek, so it appears there may be a limiting timeline as to when the other characters will be operable. They will also fight alongside the player as support characters.
Other support characters for the game have also been revealed as Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien Shinhan and Goku’s long-time training buddy, Krillin. The support characters do more than just fight alongside the player as specific actions will be performed based off of the various button commands.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot looks like the most ambitious title in the beloved anime series with a RPG release for the DBZ universe. Players and fans can get their hands on the game once it releases sometime in early 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
