As an indie game, it’s natural that there are challenges and risks to overcome during the development process. However, you can rest assured that the development of Ova Magica being handled well and is budgeted and planned carefully. We will communicate regularly and honestly with our backers about the game’s progress. In addition, the game is supported strongly by Top Hat Studios, who already shipped successfully Kickstarter funded games on all platforms.

Inspired by Stardew Valley and Slime Rancher, and timeless classics such as Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, Pokémon, Grandia, Jade Cocoon, and Azure Dreams. ClaudiaTheDev defines Ova Magica as a single-player game, that combines the farming and monster taming genre with life sim elements.

Here is an overview of the game:

After moving to the sleepy town of Clover, the player (who can choose to be a boy or girl) is entrusted with revitalizing an overgrown piece of land into the farm of their dreams—and taking care of cute, mysterious creatures known as “blobs.”

These blobs each have special skills that help with everything from farming to protecting you on expeditions for rare crafting materials! As well as the blobs, Clover Town is home to many quirky individuals from all walks of life with their own unique routines and interests. Train cute blob creatures, take care of your farm, and make friends with the people of Clover Town.
