Overwatch is continuing to grow as the release of the new Storm Rising event dropped earlier this week, however, there’s still more to come in the near future for the online focused title. Players will get the opportunity to dive into a brand new map based in Cube as a new Escort map.
The Storm Rising event pits a team of online players against an all-powerful enemy and touches a bit more on the backstory of the game itself. The new escort map is currently only available on the PTR (Public Test Region) server, but should see the light of day on consoles before too long.
The map promises plenty of lush environmental elements, including “beaming sunshine” and “captivating oceanfront”, per the tweet above.
Overwatch will continue to limited time Storm Rising event until May 6, 2019 and is available on the PS, Ps4, and Xbox One.
