Overwatch: Uprising was revealed as the April 11 event thanks to a leaked trailer through PlayStation France, called Insurrection in the short film.
The French version of the Insurrection trailer leaked online today and gives us a pretty good idea of what’s coming on Tuesday, including a whole bunch of cool new skins from the past and what looks like a PvE event similar to Halloween’s Junkenstein’s Revenge.
Overwatch: Insurrection takes place in the not-too-distant past when the titular Overwatch team (starring Tracer, Reinhardt, Torbjörn and Mercy) took on the Omnic uprising in London. The new game mode looks like the reverse of a tower defense game, where you and your team traverse through the streets of King’s Row defeating waves of robots and making your way past big turrets.
The trailer suggest that the event will run from April 11 to May 1.

Here’s how Sony’s video description puts it (translated from French by Google):
“For a limited time, we go back and offer to relive one of the key moments in the history of Overwatch. Rally your friends and accompany Tracer in his first mission during the King’s Row insurrection, our new cooperative shock or discover the origins of some of your favorite heroes with more than 100 new objects for Overwatch: Insurrection including models, Entries, emotes, tags, etc.!
