Atlus announced that the company will hold an exclusive livestream to show off upcoming new gameplay footage of the massive expansion, Persona 5 Royal. The livestream will show off new details and gameplay footage of the new features coming in the Royal expansion.
The new Royal expansion will introduce tons of new elements to the already massive Persona 5 base game. The story will be re-worked in order to incorporate new Phantom Thief Kasumi, new confidants, a new location to explore in Kichijoji, new activities and experience the previously unplayable third semester.
Atlus has revealed plenty of new video footage in the last couple of months, including new character trailers and detailing new gameplay mechanics and features in the Morgana’s Report video series, but the upcoming livestream will provide even more bits of information on what to expect in Royal. Fans may tune in to the livestream on August 2, 2019 at 4AM PT/7AM ET on the Atlus YouTube channel.
Persona 5 Royal is set to release on the PS4 on October 31, 2019 in Japan with a western release date arriving sometime in 2020.
