Phil Spencer Visiting Japan And Korea Studios For Xbox E3 Discussions

It appears the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, is gearing up for a week long trip to visit Japanese and Korean publishers and developers to hold discussions regarding Microsoft’s E3 presentation this year. A tweet from Spencer expressed he was looking forward to the trip and looks forward to see what the studios are working on, talking about E3 and future plans.

Microsoft has been scrutinized in the passed for its lack of Japanese titles on the Xbox consoles, but it seems that they are beginning to add more depth to their already growing list of first party developers. This year’s E3 presentation is sure to be exciting, as Spencer has also recently stated in a letter to Xbox employees that E3 2019 will “big” for the brand.

It’s definitely an exciting period for the Xbox line of consoles as big named studios are pledging their devotion to Microsoft. Ninja Theory, Obsidian and Playground Games are just some of the bigger names that have joined the recently re-named Microsoft Game Studios family. And along with what appears to be more Japanese/Eastern support, the sky is the limit for the next-generation of Xbox consoles.

Stay tuned for more updates in Phil Spencer’s trip to these Eastern based studios, including any details as to what they might be working on.
