Pit People launches via Xbox One Game Preview & Steam Early Access on January 13

The turn-based strategy game will launch for the Xbox One Preview Program and Steam Early Access on January 13th of 2017. The Behemoth has said the preview build of the game comes with a “sizable chunk” of the game’s story content, as well as lots of quests, several world maps, and more.

Players will be able to adventure in two player cooperative or single player, and even the Unfair Challenge mode, which enables players to fight bots or competitively online with other players. You can also have up to four players in versus mode.

According to The Behemoth, the core gameplay is complete and new content will be added in the lead-up to the full release.

“The developer also confirmed there would be a discount for early purchasers, “As a thank you to those who support our first ever early access release and in appreciation for playing the game early during its development stages, there will be a $5 discount off the full release price! Pit People will be a low $15 during Early Access on both platforms!! Once the game has made its full release, the price point will be $20. Of course, if you purchase it during Early Access the game will unlock all the features once the full release comes out and you keep all of your save data.”
