The development team behind mind-blowing indie titles like Limbo and Inside is currently working on a new project that we have had no clue on its story or gameplay. We just assume that it’s set in the same genre as the previous titles of Playdead with a sci-fi-themed story.
While Playdead keeps the game heavily under wraps, it’s been a while that they have releasing new screenshots from the game without anyone noticing. According to PC Gamer, the job-list page for Playdead have been teasing new details on the game by posting some new screenshots that we haven’t seen before.
The new shots prove that the new game uses the same formula in directing and camera positioning as Inside and Limbo. However, unlike Inside, the new game seems to be set in remote place where you might be alone with so many things to explore. Based on what the shots represent, the environment is a cold place probably during winter in landscapes such as mountains and beaches. Here you can check out the images:
Playdead’s upcoming title hasn’t officially announced yet and we have no exact clues on its release date nor target platforms.
