PlayStation Japan announced a new livestream event called ‘PlayStation Presents Play! Play! Play!’, the event will feature new information about Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, and Resident Evil: Village.
PlayStation Presents Play! will feature interviews with Capcom Director, Morimasu Sato, and Square Enix Producer Yoshinori Kitase. The event will incentivize Japanese consumers to tune in giving away 2,000 yen ( around $18) to 100 participants that manage to complete a special Stamp Rally challenge.
The official description of the event is “a talk show that makes you want to play” and it could be produced to separate itself from different live stream presentations like Nintendo Direct. PlayStation Presents Play will be aired in Japan on March 21 from 20:00 to 21:00 JST, March 22 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am EST. the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube.
The event will be presented by model Kayo Satoh, MC Hatsune Matsushima for the Resident Evil: Village segment, while the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade section will be presented by the entertainer Hatsune Matsushima and MC Takuya Nakamura.
Both Resident Evil Village and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are two of the biggest games to be released for PlayStation 5 in 2021, both titles are scheduled to be released in the first half of the year.
Square Enix’s DLC for the critically acclaimed RPG will tell the story of Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates the shadowy Shinra corporation to steal a powerful Materia and restore glory to her homeland. The expansion will release exclusively for PlayStation 5 and PC and features improved textures, lighting, and background environments.
Final Fantasy VII Intergrade will be two chapters long and will also introduce two graphics settings, one that prioritizes resolution while the other boost FPS.
Resident Evil Village will release on May 7 celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary, the game will include a multiplayer mode called Resident Evil Re:Verse, an online multiplayer that takes some of the most recognizable characters in new comic-style art.
