Sony has announced the free titles for Playstation Plus subscribers for March 2022. Subscribers to the service will be able to download Ark: Survival Evolved, Team Sonic Racing and Ghostrunner’s PS5 version along with the standalone version of Ghost of Tsushima’s multiplayer – Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. Sadly, players on the PS4 will be unable to download Ghostrunner. You can download the games from March 1st to April 4th. Keeping the games after that requires you to have a current Playstation Plus subscription.
Ark: Survival Evolved is a prehistoric survival game released by Studio Wildcard in 2017. The game revolves around establishing a base, crafting weapons, and taming various dinosaurs and other creatures. The game was released to mixed reviews, with reviewers calling the game fun but very grindy. Bugs have also plagued the game for years, though when working properly, the experience is one that is different than most survival games out there.
Team Sonic Racing is a kart racing spinoff released by Sega in 2019. There are 15 available characters to use on 21 tracks, and is generally what is expected from a kart racer, though inferior to Nintendo’s Mario Kart according to reviewers. The game released to average reviews.
Ghostrunner is a cyberpunk action platformer released in 2020. Players will take control of Jack the Ghostrunner, and must parkour through various environments by dashing, jumping, wallrunning and grappling while using his samurai sword and special abilities to take out enemies along the way. The game released to generally favorable reviews.
Lastly, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is the multiplayer mode of acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima, recently released as a standalone title. It is a co-op title in which players can choose one of four different classes and take on various scenarios, complete with character progression.
Players still have until February 28th to download the current Playstation Plus free games: UCF4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep.
