November’s PlayStation Plus games have seemed to leak early and I will admit I am happy with them due to two of the games being ones I wanted to buy, only to not for whatever reason there was back then. These leaks were spotted by VGC on the french forum Dealabs which has accurately leaked the PlayStation Plus lineup multiple times in the past.
The first game leaked as part of this lineup is a game I am shocked took this long to appear on the list, Knockout City. A 3v3 competitive dodgeball game from Velan Studios, most people were shocked when it was released and turned out to be pretty fun. Since PS Plus received similar games such as Fall Guys and Rocket League upon their launch and helped increase their popularity it is a wonder why it didn’t work out that why here but better late than never. It did launch on day one through the Xbox Game Pass. The leak implies this will release for PS4 and PS5
The next big release is the PlayStation 4 RPG game Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The remastered version of the 2012 high fantasy RPG, and the only game developed by 38 Studios before they went bankrupt, KoA has finally started to get the respect it deserved all those years ago. Bosting a large world with plenty of side quests and missions, as well as an extremely fun combat system, this is definitely worth diving into regardless of if you have in the past or not.
Next is a game that should appeal to fans of Among Us or Town of Salem, First Class Troubles. It is a party game where players must work together to deactivate the AI that has trapped you on a luxury cruise ship. Not everything is as it seems though as several players will be impostor robots trying to stop you and your fellow survivors along the way. The game appears to be more action-oriented than that of Among Us, but still features the player taking on tasks to survive, all while trying to sus out the imposters. This will be available both as the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions.
Finally, we have a PSVR title based on the popular Walking Dead series, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. What I am told is one of the better adaptations of the comic/TV series, players explore an open New Orleans, with the virtual reality headset putting you right into the world. You can kill walkers, craft supplies, as well as take the storyline in your spare time.
Overall this seems like one of the better months for the PlayStation Plus, with a game that should appeal to everybody, or at the very least worth trying out. Of course, we will have to wait for an official announcement before we start clearing space on our hard drives.
