The Pokemon Company just hinted at more news regarding the upcoming release of Pokemon Sword and Shield to be shared later this week. We’ve already learned a lot about the two next-gen Pokemon titles hitting the Switch, so it’s a bit curious as to what they may be ready to reveal.
A few details we already know about the new Pokemon titles is that it takes place in new location known as Galar, will include a brand new wave of next generation Pokemon to collect, train and fight, and has a new phenomenon known as Gigantamax and Dynamax.
However, maybe a bit of negative news regarding the new titles is that Game Freak will not be including the national Pokedex in Sword and Shield, restricting the new games to mostly new Pokemon which leaves many of the older generation Pokemon out of the mix.
The new Pokemon Sword and Shield information will drop on August 7, 2019 at 6:00AM PT/9:00AM ET. Pokemon Sword and Shield is set to release on November 15, 2019 for the Switch.
