In today’s Pokemon exclusive Nintendo Direct, fans got a closer more in-depth look at the next core Pokemon titles, Sword and Shield. We were able to see plenty of new details and features for the generation 8 titles along with the most important detail of all – the release date.

Sword and Shield will be the first mainline Pokemon title to head over to the home console in the long-running series. There’s tons of new features included in the upcoming new titles, such as new generation 8 Pokemon, the all-new Dynamax Phenomenon, the open Wild Area and Max Raid Battles.
There’s tons of new stuff added to the next big Pokemon experience within the Galar region in Sword and Shield. The upcoming Pokemon title is set to release on November 15, 2019 exclusively for the Switch.
