Pokken Tournament Arcade adds Croagunk

Pokken Tournament Arcade adds Croagunk

Croagunk will join the arcade version of Pokken Tournament as a playable character, Bandai Namco announced.

Croagunk, a dual-type bipedal Poison/Fighting Pokémon, that resembles a poison dart frog, was revealed during a NicoNico livestream. In a new trailer, we can see the fighting-type using moves such as poison jab and double team. Further, it appears the developers have given Croagunk a jocular and almost cocky-like attitude.

As of right now, Croagunk will only be available to use in the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament.

Check out the Trailer:

“Croagunk in Pokken Tournament will be a Speed Type that uses a lot of projectiles, including Poison Jabs and Rock Throw.

And for those wondering, the Croagunk Support Pokemon will still be around and you can have Croagunk be supported by another Croagunk.

When the last update for the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament was released, data miners found information for both Scizor and Empoleon as playable characters. Scizor was revealedas a new fighter in October and when a new character reveal was teased again, fans figured it was Empoleon.

Does this mean that Empoleon will come later and, more importantly, that The Pokemon Company and Bandai Namco have more fighters they wish to add to the game? We can only hope so.”
