Journalist Liam Robertson stated in 2019 to have heard that a new Prince of Persia game is being developed, the game is an homage to the 2D classic from the DOS era.

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier comments give some credibility to the leak, “Video game retailers sure love leaking Ubisoft’s surprise announcements“. Schreier is referring to Far Cry 6 leak on the PlayStation Network Hong Kong. Interestingly, there is a discrepancy in the prices of the Nintendo and PlayStation version of the game, the PlayStation 4 version is at Q539.00 (Guatemalan Quetzel) and Q629.00 on Nintendo Switch.

During Ubisoft’s CEO, Q3 FY 2020 earnings call Yves Guillemot announced that news five new AAA games are scheduled for a 2021 release. “We have evolved our organizational structure in recent months in order to strengthen our focus on high-potential titles, and we are very excited about the idea of releasing five new AAA games in 2020-21”.

In recent Ubisoft news, the company has seen its “organizational structure” completely destroyed, employees alleged that Ubisoft is a toxic environment in which high-rank executives harass their subordinates. Maxime Beland and Tommy François have recently left Ubisoft due to their criminal behavior.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Creative Director Ashraf Ismail has been fired from Ubisoft due to his criminal behavior, the publisher found via an internal investigation that some of the allegations filed against him are true, as it was confirmed by an internal announcement shared within the Ubisoft Montreal. Ubisoft is now facing a collective lawsuit against them from Solidaires Informatique, the defense, led by Maude Beckers, promises total confidentiality and legal support to all the victims of harassment from Ubisoft’s executives.
