PS Now Expanding Its Territory, Launching In Several European Countries

Sony’s game streaming service for the PS4, PS Now, has been around for nearly five years in North America, but since then has slowly expanded its accessibility further across the globe.

In a recent announcement from the official PlayStation Blog, seven European countries are now listed as PS Now friendly territory. The newly added countries include Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway.

And you’ve a huge range of titles to get stuck into. Games include blockbuster smashes such as Mortal Kombat X, For Honor and WWE 2K18, critically-acclaimed PlayStation exclusives like Bloodborne, The Last of Us and God of War III Remastered, and family-friendly experiences including LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Sonic Generations.

On console, you have the choice to download PS4 games onto your hard drive. If you decide to stream, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off, regardless of whether you’re playing on PS4 or PC, thanks to cloud saving.

And the catalogue continues to grow: every month more games join the library, so there’s no better time to try out the service. In Europe, PS Now is also available in UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg.

The PS Now service primarily acted as a streaming service with well over 600 PS4, PS3 and PS2 titles to choose from in its first few years of inception. While streaming is still mandatory for the large collection of PS3 titles available today, the service introduced the ability to download PS4 and PS2 games directly to your PS4 console in 2018. And with games constantly being added to the service, subscribing is starting to become more tantalizing than ever.

Windows PC owners may also subscribe to the streaming service and join in on the huge library of PS Now classics.
