PS4 Receiving Black Desert Later This Year

The team behind Black Desert, Pearl Abyss, has announced that the title is set to release on the PS4 later this year. Future players of the title can expect to start pre-ordering the title next month as they anticipate the upcoming release.

“Our team has been working diligently to make Black Desert the best that it can be, and we’re finally ready to reward our patient player base(…)If you’ve been looking for a open-world action MMORPG on the PS4 with deep personalization to fit your gameplay experience, we encourage you to pre-order this July.” – Kwangsam Kim, Lead Producer

The new PS4 version is also receiving the remastered treatment with updated visuals and audio to enhance the experience. Alongside the announcement for the PS4 release, the team also announced the Black Desert Mobile title to release in the west outside of the South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan version of the title.

Black Desert on the PS4 will go up for pre-order on July 2, 2019 with a release scheduled for 2019. The game is currently available for the PC and Xbox One.
