The latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine UK has revealed the 38 games to arrive the PlayStation 5, at the moment of writing, fourteen titles are confirmed to be available for the next gen console at its launch window.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5, Fifa 21, Godfall, Madden 21, NHL 21, Observer: System Redux, Outriders, Quantum Error, Rainbow Six Siege, Redo! Enhanced Edition, Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 Warframe and WRC are the confirmed titles.
In a VentureBeat article, Grubb suggest what should be expected in the early June PlayStation event, he says ” Sony was putting together a roster of next-gen games (not just first-party). The shifting date, however, may cause some complications in that regard.”
Is important to mention that next-gen games is debatable, as PlayStation would avoid committing the same mistake the Xbox team did at the Xbox Series X gameplay reveal at the Summer Game Fest inauguration.
Grubb also says that is possible that Sony decides to unveil the PlayStation 5 in the upcoming showcase, but is still uncertain. However, he confirms that fans will see more State of Play showcases in the summer, one taking place in early August.
While Schreier and Grubb both share an impeccable career as insiders reporters, the information is still not official, dates might change and the COVID-19 might certainly delay some of the plans that developers and publishers have.
