Psychonauts 2’s Physical “Motherlobe Edition” Announced

Publisher Skybound Games and developer Double Fine Productions announced a physical edition of Psychonauts 2 called Psychonauts 2 “Motherlobe Edition.” It will launch  on September 27 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series / Xbox One for $69.99 across retailers. Additionally, an iam8bit exclusive Collector’s Edition was also announced and is coming later this year for $129.99, along with the Essential Edition vinyl for $40 USD. The Psychonauts 2 physical edition for Xbox Series X/Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is an imaginative experience for collectors and gifters. The retail editions come in a lenticular outer sleeve with a reversible cover sheet, and will feature a set of six two-sided art cards showcasing final art and concept art from the game, six premium die-cut  stickers along with a digital download code granting access to unreleased behind the scenes materials.

The iam8bit exclusive Psychonauts 2 Collector’s Edition harnesses the power of the psychedelic. The Collector’s Edition is reminiscent of the vibrant, mind-bending style of Psychonauts 2 – from a book featuring the history and art of Psychonauts to the very design of the box.
