North America’s largest LAN party is set to return to Dallas for its 22nd year. QuakeCon 2017 will take place from August 24–27 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.
QuakeCon it’s an annual celebration of games and the people who play them, it was founded in 1996 and has grown to become a major event that draws fans from around the globe. More than 10,000 gamers attended last year’s festivities, participating in the LAN party and partaking in a wide range of activities, panels, tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest hardware and gaming accessories. Over the years, attendees have also been treated to exclusive presentations and hands-on for several of Bethesda’s upcoming games, including DOOM, Dishonored 2, Quake Champions and more.
Thanks to the support of id Software, Bethesda Softworks and the dedicated QuakeCon volunteer staff, QuakeCon 2017 is free to attend and open to the public. The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center is also offering a special room rate of $185 per night when you reference QuakeCon 2017.
