The Switch is boosting its Sega Ages line up with Sega Ages: Virtua Racing heading to the Switch eShop in Japan later this year. Along with the ability to take this gem on the go, the game is also coming with a few exciting multiplayer features as well.
Sega Ages: Virtua Racing will be able to pit players against one another via 1v1 online races, as well as supporting up to 8-player local split screen. While this release is only headed to the Japanese region eShop so far, we can still hold out hope that the polygonal racer will be headed over seas as a few other Sega Ages titles, such as Phantasy Star and Outrun, first released in Japan before heading over to other parts of the world.
The Sega Ages line up for the Switch currently has six out the fifteen confirmed titles released on the eShop, with four of those being available outside of Japan. Stay tuned for more updates on the ongoing Sega Ages library continuing to expand on the Switch’s eShop.
Sega Ages: Virtua Racing is set to release in Japan this coming Spring with hopefully a release date for western audiences coming shortly after.
