Ubisoft briefed players who didn’t knew the reason behind the character’s removal, an exploit was bad enough to cause her removal from the game.

[UPDATE] We’ve disabled Clash for all platforms in order to investigate an issue that was discovered, and we are currently working on a fix.

As reported by ComicBook, the Operator has been removed from the game several times. On mid-December Ubisoft spotted a problem with Clash’s shield, this led to an exploit that needed to be fixed.

Clash is an Heavy Armored Operator, she comes equipped with a special Crowd Control Electro Shield. When used, it fully extends to cover her front-side. The Shield also has a taser, this enables the operator to do extra damage and slow down enemies in front of her, preventing incoming rushes from Attackers.

A release date for the patch was not announced, but the developer promised more information coming in the following days.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game the game is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
