Realistic Skateboarding Game ‘Session’ Releasing in Early Access Next Month

Crea-ture Studios has announced that their highly-anticipated skateboarding game Session will finally be releasing on both PC and Xbox later this year. The game will hit in Early Access on Steam following the Xbox One version landing on Xbox Game Preview in October.

Check out the latest trailer for the game below:

The game seems like it will pick up where EA’s Skate left off catering to the fans of searching for the true skateboarding feel. While comparable to Skate, Session will harness an even more authentic feel to skateboarding with two analog sticks replicating both feet on the board. This authenticism is made especially apparent when performing ‘switch’ moves – i.e. reversing foot position.

Session will allow players to skate in the lower region of Manhattan, NY with a 1:1 scale. There’s also an emphasis on creating your own skate videos in the game, allowing players to put together a satisfying montage of epic skateboarding clips.

Session will hit PC via Steam Early Access on September 17, 2019 while the game will land on Xbox Game Preview in October. The full release of Session is expected to land sometime in early 2020.
