I know you’ve heard thousands of fake news on the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 and none of them have been confirmed yet by Rockstar. The new one isn’t supposed to be an exception, though it might be a bigger clue after what we received about the game’s PC version through Rockstar Social Club.
According to one of the members at GTAforums, lots of codes for PC settings of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been found in the game’s companion app. Previously, another user have digged out the codes inside Social Club and found some clues on the game’s PC version. These two news coming one after another might be a big hint on the upcoming PC version of RDR 2, but the main question is when will this happen?
Regarding the launch of next-gen platforms later in 2020, if Rockstar has got any plans on releasing a PC port of the game, it’s reasonable to launch it along with PS5 and Xbox Scarlett editions to feature cutting-edge technologies in terms of graphics.
According to the codes found in companion app, PC version for Red Dead Redemption 2 will be supporting DirectX 12.
It’s being said that Rockstar is going to announce a new project during Fall 2019 and it’s possible to see a confirmation of RDR 2 for PC in the same lines as the new title’s unveil.
