Red Dead Redemption 2 PC System Requirement Has Been Shared

A few days ago, all of a sudden, Rockstar Games confirmed Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC and now it’s the most anticipated title of the year for a major part of PC gamers in the world. Soon after releasing its own launcher for windows, Rockstar revealed that the latest iteration in Red Dead series will be coming to PC on November 5th. If you’re one of those who are counting down the days to play RDR 2 on PC, you better take a look at its requirement system before submitting any pre-orders.

Starting with the most important part, Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to need at least 150 GB of free space on your system, which is too much even in the late eighth generation of consoles, but still, it’s less than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s 175 GB required storage space. Compared to last year’s console versions, RDR 2 requires almost 50 GB more and that can be justified with the game’s hefty updates on Red Dead Online and some additional campaign missions for the upcoming edition.

Going over other factors, your system has to be equipped with an Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD FX-6300 processor along with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or an AMD Radeon R9 280 to run the game at lowest quality. However, those who are using high-end systems better check out the Recommended specifications down below:

  • OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 (v1803)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • HDD Space: 150GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Red Dead Redemption 2 steam version will come around a month later than its launch. Currently, some developers are working on unofficial mods for RDR 2 and it’s expected to see first multiplayer mod of the game later this year in December.
