Release Date Announced for Alaska

It was announced by Wreck Tangle Games that their cold blooded FPS thriller game, Alaska, has officially got a release date. Accompanied by a “release date announcement trailer” titled ‘Requiem’, the end of the trailer reveals the date to be – February 1st 2018.

Check out the announcement trailer of Alaska, featuring some gameplay footage:

“Alaska has received a lot of great comments so far from people who have played the pre-alpha demo, and looks like this really could be one indie game to watch. Being developed by one man, Orion Moon, Alaska takes players on a journey in a small community deep into The Final Frontier, where everybody knows your name and everyone looks after each other. This all changes when one of your friends is found murdered on the airstrip in town, causing this tight-knit community to really spiral out of control.

If you are a fan of story driven indie games, this is definitely one to keep your eyes on. Get your coat, scarf and gloves on, and be ready for Alaska releasing in Feb.

STORY

Alaska is to feature a deep, dark story that will have you feeling many different emotions. Once the first body has been found, murdered on the airstrip, YOU must make the decision on who to trust and who to not.

Your best friend starts acting strange; the recluse on the other side of town has disappeared; Mr McWilliams’s rifle has gone missing and bloodstains have appeared outside the Andrew’s property. All this, plus more, will have you constantly second guessing who the killer is.

Will you solve the mystery before the next murder is committed?

SKILLS

In Alaska there are skills you must learn to survive the last frontier. These skills will help weave the story together as well as help you care for yourself and your neighbours. Some of the skills in the full game include: Fishing, Wood Chopping, Hunting, Repairs, Ice-skating And much more!”
