GungHo Online Entertainment America announced the official release date for the remastered collection of the two Grandia titles. The Switch’s HD Collection will hit later this month while the PC versions of Grandia HD Remaster and Grandia II HD Remaster will release later in the year.
Grandia II is already available on the PC under the name Grandia II Anniversary Edition and will simply be renamed to Grandia II HD Remaster. The new collection arriving to the Switch will feature the option of being played in handheld for the first time, along with a variety of new and improved features for the game.
There’s plenty of enhanced features coming to both titles in their remastered form. Both Grandia titles will feature enhanced details to various textures, cinematic enhancements, both English and Japanese audio plus French and German translation, and custom resolutions for PC.
Grandia HD Collection will land on the Switch on August 16, 2019 while the PC version of the Grandai HD Remaster will land at a later date.
