Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days Launching May 18 for Xbox One and PC

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days launches May 18th, based on the classic Tarantino film, poses itself as a top-down strategic shooter whose events mirror but don’t directly follow the film’s timeline.

Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days is an overhead strategic shooter, and while Mr. White, Mr. Pink, Mr. Brown, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Orange, and Mr. Blue may not resemble their cinematic counterparts, the game will reveal what happened to the characters before the iconic film. Players will need to use the game’s “Time-Rewind” mechanic to erase their mistakes and plan out the perfect heist (and hopefully escape unscathed).

The film, for those who don’t know or remember, shows us the aftermath of a botched robbery. The gang are shot to bits, torn apart by suspicions of a rat within their ranks, and hiding out in a pressure cooker environment, waiting for the heat to die down. Bloody Days follows the Dogs through the jobs that lead up to the fateful diamond heist, and each mission is a rapidly escalating catastrophe, as alarms are triggered, police cars surround the building, and the bodies start to pile up.

Check out the Trailer:

A new trailer released today explains Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days’ original “Time Rewind” gameplay mechanic, a time-bending twist that lets players turn back the clock and control each member of the team in overlapping bursts of action. Time Rewind adds a new level of strategy to every heist, creating unique opportunities for careful tactics and improvised chaos that can turn the tide in a firefight.
