Resident Evil 4 for PS4 & Xbox One Launches August 30

Resident Evil 4 is the critically acclaimed entry in the popular series that was released to universal acclaim. It has achieved a cult status among fans and it was responsible for shaping the future of the franchise. The game was directed by series veteran and creator, Shinji Mikami. It features an over-the-shoulder camera perspective and removed Zombies for the first time in the series, replaced by a new type of enemies called Las Plagas.

The Xbox One and PS4 version will include all previously released content, like Ada Wong’s side story and the Mercenaries Mode. All the costumes? They’re here. And if you beat it and decide you need to play it again, New Game Plus is around.

Resident Evil 4 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 30.

Check out some of the Screenshots:

“Resident Evil 4 has had a long history since its initial debut in 2005. It originally came out on Gamecube and then ported to PlayStation 2 a few months later. A PC version was released in 2007, which was a terrible port that mirrored the company’s past attempts to break onto the platform (such as Devil May Cry 3), and then remastered for the open platform in 2014, which was significantly better. It then came to Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, mobile  and now finally PS4 and Xbox One.”
