Resident Evil 7: biohazard DLCs ‘End of Zoe’ and ‘Not a Hero’ Trailer

Capcom is releasing two new DLC packs for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, releasing in December will feature VR support, and just recently Capcom revealed the newest details about both Not a Hero and End of Zoe expansions with the unveil of a new trailer.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom, released in January 2017 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Diverging from the more action-oriented Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7 returns to the franchise’s survival horror roots, emphasizing exploration.

Resident Evil 7 is the first full-length game to use Capcom’s in-house RE Engine. The development was led by Koshi Nakanishi, director of the 2012 Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil: Revelations. It was presented as a virtual reality demo, Kitchen, a year prior to its announcement at E3 2016, and supports the PlayStation VR headset. Resident Evil 7 was considered a return to form for the series; critics praised the gameplay, graphics, and design, but criticized the boss battles and the final chapter.

Check out the Trailer down below:

“Called “TAPE-02 ‘Redfield,’” the trailer showcases content from Resident Evil 7’s free expansion, Not a Hero, and the other piece of new DLC, End of Zoe.

The trailer confirms reports from last month that Not a Hero would be set after the events of Resident Evil 7, as Chris Redfield and fellow Umbrella soldiers begin to hunt down Lucas Baker.

Not a Hero was revealed earlier this year and was set to launch in the spring of 2017. However, the DLC was delayed and will now release simultaneously with End of Zoe on December 12.

Capcom has once again managed to reinvigorate and reinvent one of gaming’s most beloved series, and there’s already plenty of intrigue as to where the franchise is headed next,” Hardcore Gamer’s Sam Spyrison wrote.

“But for now, the Baker family’s tale is one that demands to be shared, and Resident Evil fans and horror fans alike will find plenty to encourage and engross as they push, crawl and fight their way through a bold new step for the classic series.”
