“The Gold Edition includes all of the content from the main game, in addition to the “Banned Footage Vol. 1,” “Banned Footage Vol. 2,” and upcoming “End of Zoe” downloadable content packs.
Both the new “End of Zoe” and free “Not a Hero” downloadable content will launch on December 12.
“End of Zoe” is described as a “shocking installment of the Resident Evil 7: biohazard saga where players discover what Zoe’s fate will be,” and where “players will face off against new enemies and explore new swamp-filled areas.” Owners of the original release will be able to purchase it for $14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99.
“Not a Hero” sees the return of veteran BSAA soldier Chris Redfield. It is set after the events that befell Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7: biohazard, and “brings a brand new experience playing as Chris to face new threats not met in the main game.” Here’s the description: “As a member of New Umbrella, Chris and team quickly set up a strategy to counter this latest threat. Will Chris once again solve the mystery of this latest outbreak and make it out of the plantation’s dungeons alive?”
