The leaker also claims that Resident Evil 9 has so far been the Resident Evil title that has been in development for the longest time. They Reiterated that the title is being developed on Dragon’s Dogma 2’s engine with open world technology. He also reiterates that several Resident Evil games were greenlit for development back in January 2023 and five games are currently in development.
